This week I am exploring mind mapping software. I found several free software programs. Rather than trying to download them and begin to play, I have several youtube videos that show how the software works.
Free Mind is a free mind mapping program. To show how it works, watch this tutorial created by a grad student at Clemson.

Here's a short video on how Tony Buzan's IMind Map software works. No words to it; just music.

Here's another video on another software program: Solution Language Tool. It looks very easy, and robust.

And, here is a short video on Personal Brain found at thebrain.com. It, too, is free. I have a colleague who recommended it.

I've downloaded Personal Brain. I'm going to try to create one and post it next week.

Mickey Lord, Thank you for these clips. You know, one of my favorite websites is Youtube. I may spent more than 2-3 hours a day with it. When viewing your post... it's like watching TV rather than reading book... and it's my favorite habbit.
ReplyDeleteMickey these clips are great. its crazy how i never knew about these kind of things and im learning so much from your page and these clips
ReplyDeleteThinnakorn,
ReplyDeleteI agree with you on YouTube. Why write everything out when I can "show" you with a clip. I think it's so much better.
Wow...2-3 hours a day. I couldn't spend that much time. But, I do go to YouTube as a valued resource often.
Mickey
Bruce,
ReplyDeleteAs Thinnakorn mentions, YouTube has tons of videos on "how to" do just about anything. Type in your topic, "online games" and see what comes up. I bet it will surprise you.
